Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position requiring CVICU experience, NextStage CVVH machine proficiency, and an active WI or compact RN license.

Details

CVICU setting within a hospital environment
Cares for cardiovascular ICU patients, including those requiring CVVH therapy
Uses the NextStage CVVH machine
Day and night shifts available: days 7:00–19:30 and nights 19:00–7:30 (8 or 12-hour shifts)
Every other weekend required
Some holiday coverage required
No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

Active WI RN license or compact RN license (must be in hand)
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
Prior CVICU experience required
Hands-on experience with the NextStage CVVH machine required
Basic arrhythmia/telemetry experience required
Cardiothoracic surgery and/or acuity adaptable unit experience preferred

Additional Information

Must pass a telemetry test prior to being cleared to start
13-week contract
