Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Med/Surg position on the 4th floor of a hospital in Birmingham, AL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

• Work in a Neuro Med/Surg unit on the 4th floor of an acute care hospital in Birmingham, AL
• Day shift schedule: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AL RN license or compact RN license, in hand at time of consideration — no hits on license accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro Med/Surg RN experience required
• All certifications must be AHA-issued (American Red Cross not accepted)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care to neurological med/surg patients on a dedicated 4th floor unit
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• All certifications must be current and not expiring within 30 days of the contract start date
