Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position in Biddeford, ME, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience and an active ME or Compact RN license.

Details

• Work on a 56-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit (3rd floor) in a hospital setting
• General Med/Surg Telemetry patient population
• Patient ratios of 1:4–5 on days and 1:5–6 on nights
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend hours vary
• 2 on-call shifts (12 hours each) required per 13-week contract
• Floating to other Med/Surg units required as needed, with a 25-mile float policy between facilities
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active ME or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Education modules completed through the facility's LMS — consistent for all travelers on this unit
• Scrubs must be any clean, professional color; hoodies, graphic shirts, and open-toed shoes are not permitted
• Cell phones, AirPods, and laptops are prohibited on the unit
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this at time of consideration
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (in Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
