Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (Obstetrics) position requiring MA licensure, Epic proficiency, and night shift availability with every-other-weekend rotation.

Details

• Hospital-based Obstetrics Delivery unit providing full-scope perinatal care
• Patient population includes prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, well newborns, and higher-acuity premature or special care newborns
• Care is provided in collaboration with a major academic medical center and includes operative delivery and recovery care
• Maternal/newborn couplet dyad care model for well babies
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required and must be in hand
• Current BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications required
• 3–5+ years of L&D experience preferred
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Comfort with OR/operative delivery settings preferred
• Flu vaccine required (declinations not accepted); COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions allowed)

Additional Information

• Biweekly orientation schedule
• Candidates must be separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facility for at least 6 months prior to consideration — this applies to all previous employees including travel, permanent, and per diem
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted for this position
