Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pain Clinic position requiring Epic experience and a MA RN license, working Monday–Friday day shifts in an outpatient setting.
Details
- Outpatient pain clinic setting with 5 recovery bays — no inpatient beds
- Chronic pain patient population; approximately 28 procedures performed daily
- Primary duties include phone triage, medication mixing (Botox injections), Epic in-basket management, and outpatient bay recovery
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM day shifts
- Epic EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MA RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- 1–3 years of RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates will not be considered
Additional Information
- Travelers are expected to contribute to a supportive team culture, particularly when working alongside students and new hires, who are frequently present in this environment
- Pediatric experience is not required
- All requested time off must be disclosed prior to consideration; RTO requests submitted after acceptance may not be approved
- Previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility must have a minimum 6-month break and be in good standing before returning
- COVID vaccine (including booster) and flu vaccine are required; medical exemptions are accepted
- First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded — experience requirements apply
