Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced inpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of acute care experience and an active CA PT license for a 13-week hospital assignment in Walnut Creek, CA.

Details

• Inpatient physical therapy position at an acute care hospital in Walnut Creek, CA
• Patient population includes Med/Surg, orthopedics, general medical, and neurological cases
• Daily caseload of 7–9 patients
• 8-hour day shift, 8:00am–4:30pm, 40 hours per week
• Availability for one weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday) is required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care physical therapy experience required
• Active CA PT license required; CA state board certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Two clinical references from the last two places of employment, covering the last year, from a leadership role (e.g., manager or director)
• 7-year employment history required, with explanations for any gaps of more than 30 days
• Current skills checklist required (valid within one year)
• CA PT license required if applicable

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is preferred but not required
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered as local candidates
