Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Montana, requiring at least 1 year of ED experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Details

• Full-time position in a hospital Emergency Department
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Epic used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during a regularly scheduled shift may be required

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS as appropriate for the unit — all must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to the assignment start date
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ED patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
