Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of clinical experience for a part-time outpatient physical therapy position requiring an active PT license and AHA BLS certification.

Details

• Part-time position within a hospital-based physical therapy department
• Schedule includes every Monday (9:00 AM–5:30 PM) and Friday (8:30 AM–5:00 PM), plus every other Saturday and Sunday (8:30 AM–5:00 PM), totaling approximately 24 hours per week
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts
• Schedule times may vary based on departmental needs
• Charting is done in Epic

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience, preferably in a clinic setting
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program required; Doctorate preferred
• Active state PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current AHA BLS certification required; must not expire prior to start date
• ACLS (AHA) preferred
• 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred
• English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) required
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing and evaluating patient functional status, mobility, endurance, pain, and other medical conditions, then developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Monitors and documents patient progress toward treatment goals
• Must be highly organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented work environment requiring professionalism and a strong work ethic
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
