Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a rural Kentucky facility, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and on-call availability across a diverse surgical caseload.

Details

Small rural OR with 3 operating rooms
Diverse surgical caseload including Ortho, Spine, OB/Gyn, Vascular, General, GI Endoscopy, Podiatry, and ENT procedures
Specific case types include total joints, amputations, C-sections, and vascular surgeries (e.g., carotids), with 2–3 spine cases per month
Charting performed in Epic EMR
8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
On-call is required
13-week contract

Requirements

Active KY RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
SSN and DOB required for consideration
Epic EMR experience preferred given its use on unit

Additional Information

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius rule applies
