Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position at a Level III Trauma Center in Gallatin, TN, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and AHA certifications.

Details

• Night shift position, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a 167-bed acute care hospital
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Omnicell used for medication dispensing
• Meditech EHR
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Must be willing to float to other Med/Surg units

Requirements

• Active RN license valid in Tennessee (TN state license or Compact license with TN as primary state)
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• IV insertion skills required
• Med/Surg experience preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates and eligibility
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere

• Level III Trauma Center serving the Gallatin, Hendersonville, and surrounding Tennessee communities
• Facility is fully accredited by The Joint Commission
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• All certifications must be AHA-issued and in hand prior to assignment start
• All clinical staff must be cleared through the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to start
• Any scrub color is acceptable
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 1+ year of experience is required
