Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel IR Technologist with 2+ years of hospital experience and Neuro IR expertise for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, VA.

Details

  • Angiography/Special Procedures unit with 4 procedure rooms
  • Unit staffed with 5 RNs and 4 technologists on day shift
  • Heavy Neuro IR procedure volume
  • Equipment includes Philips and GE biplane systems
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Tuesday–Friday, 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • After-hours and weekend call required

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of hospital experience in Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures
  • Neuro IR experience is required — candidates without this will not be considered
  • Must have active experience within the last 6 months in the role
  • Current BLS (AHA or ARC accepted) required — certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
  • License required if applicable
  • SSN (US only) and DOB required for consideration
  • One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
  • Navy scrubs required
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
