Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (L&D) position in California, requiring a valid CA RN license and at least one year of recent L&D experience.

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit in San Leandro, CA
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used at this facility
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required — must be in hand at time of consideration (pending licensure not accepted)
• Current BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required — must be active at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent L&D experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• BSN or related bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of recent L&D experience (within the last 2 years) preferred
• 1 year of high-risk OB/L&D experience within the last 2 years preferred

Additional Information

• Candidates who have worked with Kaiser Permanente as a contingent worker may not exceed two cumulative years of assignment without a 90-day break, regardless of whether employment was continuous or included gaps of less than three months
