Description

American Traveler is seeking a CA-licensed RN for a Labor & Delivery (Critical Need) position requiring at least 1 year of recent L&D experience and current BLS and NRP certifications.

Details

  • Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit
  • Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
  • 36 hours per week
  • Epic EMR used at this facility
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required — must be in hand at time of consideration (pending licenses not accepted)
  • Current certifications required: BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) — must be active at time of consideration
  • Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent L&D experience within the last 3 years
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • BSN or related degree preferred
  • 5+ years of recent L&D experience (within the last 2 years) preferred
  • 1 year of high-risk L&D or High Risk OB experience within the last 2 years preferred
  • Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Local candidates are accepted — local and travel rates are the same
  • Per Kaiser Permanente's HR Tenure Policy, contingent workers may not exceed two years of total assignment time without a 90-day break, regardless of whether assignments were continuous or included lapses of less than three months
