Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg and Skilled Nursing night shift position requiring an active CA RN license, Cerner experience, and PALS certification.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg unit serving both adult and pediatric populations
• Must be able to care for non-critical pediatric patients
• Float to the Skilled Nursing department is required
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Cerner EMR experience is required
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Clinicians must be familiar with Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals (NPSGs), including alarm management, patient restraints, infection prevention, two-step patient identification, medication labeling and calculation error prevention, and identifying safety and suicide risks
• Hospital orientation is paid in full
• This is a rapid response/crisis position
