Description

American Traveler is hiring a Interventional Radiology Technologist with 1-3 years of IR experience, proficiency in VIR and neuro procedures, and ARRT(R) certification for a 4x10 day shift contract.

Details

Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting
Procedures include interventional neuro, vascular, and CT/US-guided interventions
4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a rotating day off each week (typically following a call shift)
1 to 2 call shifts per week and 1 weekend on-call every 6 weeks
Preferred experience with Epic, Siemens single-plane and bi-plane equipment, and McKesson PACS

Requirements

1-3 years of Interventional Radiology experience with demonstrated skill in VIR and neuro procedures required
ARRT(R) and BLS required
RTR or RTRVI certification required
Kentucky Radiation Operator's License required prior to start date
Proficiency in scrubbing as first assist to physician, circulating, filming, and charging exams in Epic
2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
License required if applicable — no licensure hits will be accepted

Additional Information

Assist physician with interventional neuro, vascular, and CT/US-guided procedures
Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
