Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring 1+ years of acute care OR experience with strong orthopedic scrub and circulate skills.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Case types include Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry, General, Bariatric, and Neuro Spine — strong Orthopedic skills are essential
• Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts, 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM
• On-call requirement of 5 calls per month: weekday on-call runs 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM Mon–Fri; weekend on-call is 24 hours from 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday
• Staff may swap on-call shifts with other team members as needed
• Charting system: Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR experience required
• Scrub and circulate experience required
• Strong skills across all case types listed, with particularly strong Orthopedic experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two current professional references required

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Former RWJBH employees (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
