Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week night shift contract on an Orthopedic/Trauma Med/Surg unit at a Level 2 Trauma teaching hospital in Tallahassee, FL, requiring at least 2 years of clinical experience and prior travel experience.

Details

• Orthopedic/Trauma Med/Surg unit (6A) in a 772-bed acute care teaching hospital
• Level 2 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Chest Pain Center
• 34-bed unit with a 1:5–6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• 12-hour night shifts
• 13-week contract
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of clinical RN experience required
• Minimum 2 years of Orthopedic/Trauma or Med/Surg specialty experience required
• At least one prior travel nursing assignment required
• Two professional references dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Skills checklist dated within the last 12 months required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is held every Monday
• Local candidates are accepted, with the exception of those with a permanent address in Tallahassee
• No more than 4 days of RTO will be approved, and no holiday RTO will be granted
• Interviews are conducted through IVS interview services
