Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical night shift position in Tennessee, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and an active TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital Medical/Surgical unit (7E) with a 36-bed capacity
• Adult and geriatric patient population, ages 18 and older
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Staffing team includes RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and Nurse Interns; the RN assumes full responsibility for their patient team
• Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Must successfully complete a rhythm test
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Skills checklist required for consideration

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates living within the facility's radius are subject to a reduced pay rate
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
