Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Atlanta, GA, requiring an active GA or compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months of experience.

  • Position is located in a PCU unit at a major academic hospital in Atlanta, GA
  • Day shift, 12-hour shifts
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active Georgia or Compact RN license currently in hand
  • Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
  • Former permanent employees of Emory or Houston facilities must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
  • RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract if not on or near a holiday, or 3 days if the time off falls on or near a holiday
  • Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract, and RTO during the holiday period must be spread out — consecutive holiday days will not be approved
