Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician with 2+ years of Cath Lab and/or EP experience for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Wellington, FL.

Details

• Work in a multidisciplinary cardiac catheterization lab supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing and interventional procedures
• Procedures include cardiac catheterization, vascular interventions, and electrophysiology
• Performs scrub and monitoring duties utilizing catheterization and radiology imaging equipment
• Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with on-call requirements
• 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab and/or EP experience in a US hospital required
• RCIS or ARRT certification required
• Active BLS and ACLS (AHA only) required
• NIHSS certification required
• Degree in a related field (BA, BS, BSN, or AA) or equivalent experience required
• Active license required, if applicable — no pending licenses accepted
• US SSN required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Provides scrub and monitoring support for diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures
• Operates and applies prescribed procedures for radiology imaging equipment
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the most recent 12 months, with at least one reference from the most recent employer
• AHA-issued certifications only are accepted
• CPI certification is mandated for this position
