Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a day/evening rotating position requiring circulating and scrubbing skills and a minimum of 2 years of OR experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Day/evening rotating schedule Monday through Friday with shift options starting at 6:30 AM or 10:30 AM
• 40 hours per week fulfilled through a combination of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts based on unit need
• On-call responsibilities include evening (1500–2300), night (2300–0700), and weekend (0700–1900 and 1900–0700) call shifts
• Weekend work required as needed
• Preference given to candidates with experience in neuro, thoracic, ENT, orthopedic, general, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, free flaps, and robotic surgery (Da Vinci)
• Oncology surgical experience preferred
• Epic EMR required

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency in both circulating and scrubbing required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing across a variety of surgical specialties
• Accurate patient documentation using Epic is expected
• All time-off requests must be disclosed upfront for consideration
• No 30-day break required between assignments when changing representation at this facility (does not apply to Sterile Processing Techs)
