Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract with a minimum of 2 years of experience and Meditech EMR proficiency required.

Details

• Main Operating Room (OR) unit in a 284-bed hospital
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• OR staff includes a charge nurse, trauma RN, trauma tech, and additional variable staff on days; night shift staffed with 2 RNs, 1 tech, and on-call coverage
• Performs a wide range of surgical procedures, excluding burns, transplants, and cardiac surgery
• EMR: Meditech (experience required)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC accepted; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the start date)
• Meditech EMR experience required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no exceptions
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Trauma and vascular experience are preferred and will be prioritized during the review process
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• The ideal candidate is easy-going and self-motivated
