Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with home health experience for a 13-week travel contract based in Portland, ME.

Details

  • Home health setting serving the Cumberland Division in Portland, ME
  • Day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Schedule includes some weekends with compensatory days off
  • No on-call requirements
  • Home care patient population preferred

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of physical therapy experience required
  • Valid Maine Physical Therapy license required; license required if applicable
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required
  • Home health experience strongly preferred
  • Valid driver's license required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Float policy requires availability to work between facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed
  • Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (in Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and subject to a different pay rate
  • Local travelers are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
  • Travel pairs or groups are not permitted for this position
  • Use of AirPods, laptops, and personal cell phones is not permitted while on the unit
  • Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this prior to consideration
