Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Oncology Clinic position in California, requiring a minimum of 1 year of oncology experience and active CA RN licensure.

Details

  • Oncology Clinic setting serving both acute inpatients and ambulatory patients
  • Provides inpatient care including calling and receiving report on admitted patients, as well as addressing ambulatory patient needs as they arise
  • Floating required to other facilities within the same health system
  • Day shift with varying start times: either 6:30 AM–2:30 PM or 9:30 AM–5:00 PM
  • 5x8-hour shifts per week
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS
  • Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting (Med/Surg or ICU) required
  • Minimum 1 year of oncology experience required
  • Recent ambulatory care experience required
  • IV experience required
  • Ability to safely move and transfer patients, including total lift patients, with assistance and assistive devices

Additional Information

  • Radiation oncology experience preferred
  • Wound care management experience preferred
  • Position involves care for both admitted inpatients and ambulatory oncology patients
