Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT advanced certification in Vascular, Cardiovascular, or Cardiac Interventional Radiology and neuro/stroke experience for a 13-week contract.

Details

  • Hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • On-call schedule includes 1 night per week (5:30 PM – 7:00 AM) and 1 weekend every 4 weeks (Friday–Monday, 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Floating to other hospital departments within scope of practice is required when census is low
  • Uses Siemens equipment and PACS

Requirements

  • Current BLS (AHA) and ARRT (R) with advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV), or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI)
  • Recent experience in neuro/stroke procedures required
  • Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, and biopsies
  • Experience with Siemens equipment preferred
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • Perform interventional radiology procedures including neuro/stroke interventions, biopsies, and contrast studies
  • Bi-weekly orientation schedule
  • RTO will not be accommodated during holidays or holiday weeks, including Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day; RTO requests may be discussed directly with the manager after arrival on-site
