Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with experience in both Cath Lab and Angiography procedures for a 26-week travel contract at a Level I Trauma, Magnet teaching hospital.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting in a Cardiac Cath Lab unit
- Level I Trauma, academic teaching hospital with 554 staffed beds
- Ideal candidates have experience in both Cath Lab and Angiography with scrub experience
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- On-call requirement of approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3–4 weeks
- Charting system is Epic
- Scrubs are provided for this position
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space
- Local travelers are accepted for this position
Requirements
- Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT-R certifications required
- OBMI (Oregon state license) required — license required if applicable
- Experience in Cath Lab and Angiography, including scrubbing, is required
- Willingness and ability to float within the facility and across the health system is mandatory — refusal to float may result in contract cancellation
Additional Information
- Travelers are expected to float within the facility site and across the health system as requested
- Any assigned education modules must be completed within one week of starting the assignment
- Mandatory low-census cancellations require notification 1.5 hours before shift start; up to one shift per two-week pay period may be cancelled without cause or penalty
- COVID vaccination card required with no exemptions accepted
- Copies of certifications and at least one professional reference are required for consideration
- First-time travelers should confirm eligibility with their recruiter
