Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist (RN or Scrub Tech) with 2+ years of experience in interventional cardiology for a 13-week travel contract in Sierra Vista, AZ.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab at a 90-bed acute care hospital in Sierra Vista, AZ
• Specialty focus in interventional cardiology, with staff covering cath, stress testing, TEE, and tilt procedures
• Adult patient population with common diagnoses including coronary artery disease (CAD)
• GE equipment used in the lab; Cerner EMR
• Day shift, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• On-call requirements exceed 12 days; weekend hours include on-call coverage
• May float to IR on occasion

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures
• RN license (if applicable), or RRT or RCIS certification required
• AHA certifications required
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional procedures required
• Experience with manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, IABP, and pre/post unit care preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay rates

• Responsibilities include cath lab procedures, stress testing, TEE, and tilt table testing
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates may not be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Orientation is held bi-weekly
