Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in Needham, MA, requiring scrub and circulator proficiency across a broad range of surgical specialties.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting with 6 ORs performing a wide range of surgical specialties including Urology, ENT, Orthopedic (Hand/Foot), GYN, General, Colorectal, Robotics, Breast, Plastics, Pain/Spine, Ortho-Joints, and Ortho-Trauma
• 10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• On-call required: weekday call from 5:00 PM–7:00 AM and weekend call Saturday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM (Fridays excluded from weekend call)
• 30-minute on-call response time required
• Equipment used includes Aquablation, Stealth navigation, NIM, and advanced surgical robotics
• Epic EMR — experience required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Must be proficient in both scrubbing and circulating
• Experience across the surgical specialties performed at this facility required
• Experience with Aquablation, Stealth navigation, NIM, and advanced surgical robotics preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates accepted

• Candidate must have been separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facility for at least 6 months prior to consideration — this applies to all previous employees including travel, permanent, and per diem
• COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions are accepted)
• Flu vaccine documentation required during flu season
