Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 4-5 years of ED experience and certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS.

Details

• Position is in a hospital Emergency Department
• Predominantly evening/mid shifts: 11a-11p, 1p-1a, or 3p-3a
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Flexibility to adjust shift times based on department needs is required
• Epic ASAP is used for charting
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Active LA or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS — all must be obtained prior to start
• ENPC and NRP certifications are a plus
• Minimum 4-5 years of ED experience required
• Experience in a Level 3 or higher trauma center preferred
• Epic ASAP experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Prior travel nursing experience is preferred
• First-time travelers are not preferred for this role
• RTO is extremely limited — candidates should not have vacation or travel plans during the contract period
• Local candidates are eligible at the same rate as travelers
