Description

American Traveler is seeking a CA-licensed RN for a Step-Down (PCU) night shift position requiring at least 1 year of Medical/Surgical Step-Down experience.

Details

PCU/Step-Down unit operating as an 8-bed Medical/Surgical overflow unit
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
Rotating weekend requirement
No on-call responsibilities
13-week contract

Requirements

Active CA RN license required
Current BLS certification (AHA)
Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical Step-Down experience required
2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Additional Information

Provides comprehensive, patient- and family-centered care addressing potential and actual health and illness problems
Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
