Description

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of experience, including proficiency in echocardiography and vascular ultrasound, for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level IV Trauma Center.

Details

Short-term acute care hospital with 49 staffed beds, designated as a Level IV Trauma Center
Vascular Ultrasound unit performing echocardiography, vascular, and general ultrasound studies
Specialized procedures include Adult Echo, Contrast Echo, Stress Echocardiogram (Treadmill), and Vascular Ultrasound studies
Patient ratio of 8:1
4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
On-call is required: weekdays 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday
Weekend on-call required
No floating between units within this assignment
Epic EMR required
Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
Full proficiency in Echocardiography (Adult Echo, Contrast Echo, Stress Echo/Treadmill) — no training will be provided
Proficiency in Vascular Ultrasound studies and General Ultrasound required
Epic EMR experience required
Current BLS required; license required if applicable
At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers will be considered for this position
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
RTO is expected to be minimal; time-off requests must be disclosed prior to submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
Scrub color for this role: Navy Blue
Free parking is available in any unrestricted space
