Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital in California, requiring 3 years of IR experience and on-call availability.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit within a 377-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
• Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call required: 5–6 call days per 2-week period, including weekends
• Must be able to respond to call pages and arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes
• Holiday on-call required for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day
• Floating between facilities within the state may be required
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• Free parking available
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Active California RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications required: ACLS and LA Fire Card
• Minimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology RN experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be able to respond to call and arrive on-site within 30 minutes
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
