Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a MS/Tele Float Pool position in New Orleans requiring at least 2 years of experience and a night shift schedule.

Details

Work setting is a hospital med/surg telemetry float pool unit
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Patient ratio of 1:6
Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

Active Louisiana (LA) or Compact RN license required
Required certifications: BLS
Preferred certifications: ACLS and CPI
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
A copy of a valid Driver's License is required for consideration
Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
RTO is capped at 5 days for the duration of the contract
Any former permanent employee of an LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
