Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a MS/Tele Float Pool position in New Orleans requiring at least 2 years of experience and a night shift schedule.

Details

  • Work setting is a hospital med/surg telemetry float pool unit
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Patient ratio of 1:6
  • Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

  • Active Louisiana (LA) or Compact RN license required
  • Required certifications: BLS
  • Preferred certifications: ACLS and CPI
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
  • A copy of a valid Driver's License is required for consideration
  • Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
  • RTO is capped at 5 days for the duration of the contract
  • Any former permanent employee of an LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
  • 13-week contract
