Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience and Level 1 Trauma background for a 13-week travel contract at a Magnet-designated academic medical center.

Details

Short-term acute care hospital setting within an X-Ray department serving the Emergency Department and inpatient units
Fast-paced environment performing general diagnostic imaging exams
Level 1 Trauma, Magnet-designated, teaching facility with 632 staffed beds
Day shifts with variable start times (7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM), scheduled as either 4x8 or 5x8 hour shifts per week (72 hours per pay period)
Every third weekend rotation required
No on-call or floating requirements
Epic EMR — experience preferred; training provided during orientation
Hunter green scrubs required
Free parking available with badge access

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of X-Ray Technologist experience required
Level 1 Trauma experience required
Surgery experience preferred
Current BLS and ARRT certification required
AHA certifications preferred
Active Michigan state license required by start date — compact licenses are not accepted in MI; license required if applicable
Proof of high school level education required (regardless of higher education attained)
Epic EMR experience preferred
2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start date
Former core staff members must wait 12 months before returning and should be verified through HR prior to consideration
RTO is capped at 5 days per assignment and must be submitted at the time of consideration
No RTO restrictions beyond the 5-day maximum policy
