Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with acute care experience for a 13-week hospital contract working days across a wide range of adult inpatient units.
Details
- 13-week contract at an acute care hospital
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
- No on-call requirements
- Weekend availability is a plus to assist with scheduling needs
- OT services provided across all adult units, including Emergency Department, Peri-op, PACU, Behavioral Medicine, Neurology, Cardiology, Surgery, ICUs, Trauma, Mother/Baby, General Medicine, Orthopedics, and Oncology
- EMR: Epic experience required for float pool and inpatient unit assignments
Requirements
- Current, active OT license required if applicable; pending licenses may be accepted
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide OT consults to patients across a broad range of adult clinical settings
- Candidates may be floated across units in accordance with their clinical experience
- No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
- Former employees must have a 12-month gap before returning as a traveler
- Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
