Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PACU/PreOp Care position at a Level 1 Trauma Center in North Carolina, requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital PACU and PreOp Care unit at a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Day shift schedule: 7:00am – 7:00pm
• 36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts per day
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact license valid in NC
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process in a PACU/PreOp Care setting
• Duties include patient assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, and patient/family education
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care and discharge planning
• Manager will personally screen all candidates for this position
• Drug screen results required — candidates should report to the lab within 24 hours of committing to the position
