Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ER experience, with nights and an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department
• Night shift schedule alternating between 3x12-hour and 4x12-hour weeks, with shifts running 19:00–07:00
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required; candidates with 2 years must have experience in a high-volume or trauma facility
• 3 years of ER experience preferred
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions — candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could produce a positive result
