Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for an outpatient medical imaging position requiring ARRT(R) certification, a California Fluoroscopy Permit, and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Outpatient medical imaging setting with potential float to Main Radiology as needed
• Procedures include diagnostic x-ray imaging of the chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, and ankle
• Operates X-ray equipment, processes images, and documents into PACS
• Epic EMR system used; experience required
• 12-hour day shifts with an 8:00 AM start time
• Weekends required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Current ARRT(R) certification required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• California Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the Department of Health Services required; license required if applicable
• California Fluoroscopy Permit required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be a W-2 employee of their agency

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient positioning for x-ray, operating X-ray equipment, processing images, and PACS documentation
• Provides basic patient care including obtaining vital signs, placing patients in exam rooms, collecting specimens (including blood draws if qualified), preparing patients for clinician evaluation, and assisting the clinician
• Maintains an orderly and well-stocked work area
• Previous travel experience preferred
