Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg (Adult) night shift position in Vermont, requiring at least 3 years of acute care experience and a VT or compact RN license.

Details

• General Med/Surg unit at a 25-bed critical access hospital in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom
• Primarily adult patient population with occasional pediatric patients
• Provides comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care
• Night shift: 7pm–7am, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Every other weekend required
• Meditech EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active VT RN license or multi-state compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of acute care experience required
• Flu shot required, no exceptions

Additional Information

• Coordinate and deliver holistic patient care addressing physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs
• Works under the accountability of the Unit Director in collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor
• This is not a dedicated pediatric floor — candidates with pediatric-only experience will not be considered
• Contracts begin on Wednesdays
• All required credentials must be uploaded at least five business days prior to the start date
