Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for a night shift position requiring 1+ year of experience and ARRT registration in a hospital radiology setting in Joplin, MO.

• Acute care hospital radiology department setting
• Specialty focus in radiography and X-ray imaging
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
• No call or float requirements
• No weekend requirements
• Epic EMR (experience preferred)
• 13-week contract located in Joplin, MO

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in radiology/X-ray
• ARRT registration in Radiography required, or registry-eligible as a new graduate
• Current BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technologist program
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)
• License required if applicable
• No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform radiological examinations by positioning patients safely and efficiently and producing diagnostic X-ray images
• Works under the supervision of the Administrative Supervisor and/or Director
• Flu vaccination is required for assignments running November 1 through April 1; exemptions must be client-approved
• Black scrubs required
• Holiday coverage is on a rotating basis
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but are subject to a reduced bill rate
• Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts, after which a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documentation of scheduled renewal is provided
