Description

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with 5+ years of experience for a night shift position in an acute care hospital ultrasound department serving pediatric and adult high-acuity patients.

Details

• Hospital-based ultrasound department with inpatient, outpatient, ED, and pediatric coverage
• Patient population includes pediatric and adult patients, often high acuity
• Average caseload of 1–2 patients per hour
• Uses GE Logiq 10 ultrasound equipment
• EMR: Epic
• 9-hour night shifts, Monday–Thursday 10:00 PM–7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
• Weekend rotation based on departmental needs
• No on-call requirement
• No major holiday coverage required
• Schedule cycles every 2 weeks
• Potential to float to inpatient, outpatient, ED, or pediatrics depending on shift needs

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of ultrasound experience
• Current BLS certification required
• ARDMS - Abdominal (ARDMS-AB) certification required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience
• Ability to push and pull equipment
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Must provide the last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

• Orientation includes a general facility NEO session followed by 2 days of departmental orientation
• RTO requests require Resource Team approval
• Black scrubs required
