Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with LTC or SNF setting experience for a 13-week travel contract at a skilled nursing facility in Potosi, MO.

Details

• Skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting located in Potosi, MO
• Day shift, Monday through Friday with no weekend or on-call requirements
• 8-hour shifts with flexible start times between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, consistent scheduling to be communicated with the Director of Rehabilitation (DOR)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Missouri OT license required; compact licensure accepted (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of OT experience required; new graduates with completed Level II fieldwork experience will be considered
• LTC or SNF setting experience required
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include designing and administering individualized treatment programs to improve residents' functional levels
• Uses therapeutic exercises and activities to improve or maintain strength, range of motion, and fine-motor coordination
• Designs and fabricates splints per physician prescription
• Supervises OT Assistant and Aide staff in accordance with governing board guidelines
• Maintains timely and accurate patient records and documentation
• No more than 7 days of RTO may be requested for this contract
