Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology/Pain Management position at a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring 2+ years of IR/pain management experience and evening shift availability.

Details

• Evening shift, 5x8s, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
• Every other weekend required (approximately 2 weekends per month), with occasional weekend day shifts (8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
• On-call rotation assigned on a weekly basis: M–F 12:00 AM–8:00 AM; weekends and holidays 24 hours; on-call is rotated among all nurses
• No holiday shifts except when assigned on-call
• This is a mandatory float facility — travelers will float within the Radiology and Pain departments at the facility's discretion
• Charting via Cerner
• Inpatient hospital setting at a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Interventional Radiology and Pain Management unit

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required — pending licensure not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Pain Management and Interventional Radiology
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Must be comfortable floating within Radiology and Pain departments as directed

Additional Information

• Scrub color is navy blue; scrubs are not provided by the facility
• Lead wear is required during procedures
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required — no exceptions; booster is not required
• RTO is capped at 5 days per contract, with no more than 2 consecutive days off; weekend RTO will not be approved
• No RTO on holidays or the day before or after a holiday
• Local candidates are accepted and preferred; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local
