Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Rock Island, IL, requiring at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience and active IL and IA RN licenses.

Details

• 327-bed hospital setting on the Clinical Resource Team (CRT)
• Med/Surg and Telemetry patient population; may float to the Stepdown unit as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Floating required across all campuses (Rock Island, Bettendorf, Moline, and Muscatine)
• Day shift, 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required at time of consideration
• Active IA RN license also required; if not yet active, proof of application for an IA single-state or compact RN license must be provided during compliance
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Stepdown or cardiac experience preferred
• Driver's license required
• One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required
• Skills checklist completed within the past year required

• Contributes clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's
• RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving week and holiday/New Year's window
