Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool ICU position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and working weekend night shifts across multiple critical care units.

Details

• Critical Care Float Pool position covering a variety of ICU settings including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU
• Nurses float within units of equivalent or lower acuity based on staffing and patient need
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, with weekend nights (Friday/Saturday) plus one additional weekday shift per week
• EMR: Epic proficiency required
• Telemetry monitoring required

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• IV insertion experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Ventilator management experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred

Additional Information

• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility are not required to take a 30-day break between assignments before changing representation (exception: Sterile Processing Techs still require the 30-day break)
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
• A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
