Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PCU/Long-Term Acute Care position requiring telemetry, ventilator, and vasoactive drip experience with a 50-mile radius requirement.
Details
- Long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital setting on the nursing floor (4th Floor)
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) managing complex, high-acuity patients
- Experience required with telemetry monitoring, mechanical ventilators, complex wound care, and vasoactive drips (Norepinephrine and Dopamine)
- Patient ratios of 1:4–5
- 12-hour AM shifts
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
- Experience with telemetry, ventilator management, complex wound care, and vasoactive drip administration required
- Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
Additional Information
- Former permanent Emory or Houston Health System staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
- RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract if not near a holiday, or a maximum of 3 days if RTO falls on or near a holiday
- Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract
- Full SSN and date of birth are required for consideration
