Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a North Carolina hospital, requiring prior telemetry experience and active NC or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Inpatient telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week on 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina (standard or compact)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Prior telemetry experience required
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate and update patient care plans
• Assesses and anticipates patient and family discharge needs
• Performs bedside point-of-care testing as required
• Participates in unit performance improvement activities and cost-effective care initiatives
