Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of specialty experience and ARRT (Mammography) certification for a high-volume breast care imaging center in Atlanta, GA.
Details
- Women's breast care imaging center setting
- Services include mammography, breast ultrasound, bone density scanning, and breast biopsy procedures
- Extremely high-volume department seeing approximately 100 patients per day
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 13-week contract
- No on-call required
- Hologic mammography equipment used
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography
- ARRT (Mammography) certification required
- AHA BLS required
- Prior travel assignment experience required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform imaging services including mammograms, breast ultrasound, bone density scans, and breast biopsy procedures
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before being considered
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is extended
