Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a travel contract at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital in Florida, requiring at least 2 years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

Emergency Department (ER) unit within a short-term acute care, Magnet-designated teaching hospital with 332 staffed beds
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Two weekends per month required
Floating required to all 3 system hospitals (within approximately 20 miles) to meet facility needs
No on-call requirements
Block scheduling is not available
Charting is done in Epic; experience at a proficiency level of 3 or 4 is required
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

Active FL or Compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be in hand at time of consideration; NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
Epic EMR experience at a proficiency level of 3 or 4 required
Must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) is required
Two professional references required for consideration
PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
White scrubs are required
Free parking is available in any unrestricted space
Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be prioritized immediately upon assignment confirmation
All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as RTO added after submission will likely not be approved
This is a smoke-free facility with no exceptions
Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location may not exceed 18 consecutive months, and travelers must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
