Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Lawton, OK, requiring at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience and proficiency with cardiac and peripheral interventional procedures.

Details

• Full-service hospital Cath Lab environment serving Southwest Oklahoma, supported by Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and a General Surgeon
• Procedures performed include Left Heart Cath, Right and Left Heart Cath, PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, Carotid diagnostic and stenting, Peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, Pacemaker Insertion, Tilt Table Testing, Kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostic/stent/thrombectomy
• Equipment used includes Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices, LEXISCAN Stress Test monitoring, and two Siemens Artis Zee C-arms
• EMR/charting systems in use: McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and McKesson Hemodynamic System
• 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week
• On-call required 7 days per month (non-consecutive), covering evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Weekend on-call responsibilities included

Requirements

• Active RN license — Oklahoma state license or Compact license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Proficiency with cardiac and peripheral monitoring devices including Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and atherectomy devices
• Two supervisory reference forms dated within the last two years required for consideration
• Skills checklist current within the last year, pertinent to Cath Lab specialty, required for consideration
• Recent travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient monitoring during Cath Lab procedures, assisting in pre and post procedure areas, patient transport, and other duties as assigned
• Local candidates are accepted and will be considered at a reduced rate
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
• Copies of all current certifications must be included with your profile
